Tada! Mad scientist’s jars

It’s alive! The best thing about Halloween is that you get to scare the living daylights out of everyone, don’t you think? If you’re feeling experimental and have the stomach for it, may we suggest that you turn your kitchen or living room into a laboratory?

Here is a jarring and frightfully fun DIY idea for scary decorations. All you’ll need are a couple of empty and clean jars – and a few of your kids’ favourite toys.

Step 1
Fill a jar with water and add a few drops of food colouring to get that fab mad-scientist-lab colour. Place a fake spider, a spine-chilling snake or similar creepy ingredients inside.

Step 2
Fill a jar with spookalicious chocolate eyeballs and secure the lid so they don’t pop out.

Step 3
Squeeze a human brain replica into a jar. It sounds insane, but it’s deadly fun!
