Step-by-step instructions:

Create a witch hat chandelier

Witches have come a long way. In the dark past, they were feared, persecuted and burned at the stake. Today we celebrate them, and in their honour, we’ve brewed up a spell-binding piece of décor.

If you’re feeling wickedly creative, here’s a DIY idea: turn a witch hat into fang-tastic ceiling decoration.

See what you’ll need, besides witchcraft, below.

Best witches for Halloween!

This is what you need

Witch hat
Paper bats on a string
– 2 safety pins
– Extra string

How to create the witch hats

Step 1 Thread a safety pin through the end of the string that is stitched to the bats.

Step 2 Secure it to the inner side of the brim of the hat.

Step 3 Take the loose string, let the two ends meet and make a loop. Thread the other safety pin through and fasten it to the tip of the hat.

Step 4 Hang the witch hat from the ceiling.
