Fake blood recipe

Fake it, till you make it. If you need a creepy addition to your Halloween party, fake blood is the answer. It looks spooktacular, and you can easily make it yourself. This recipe is edible (vampires find that incredible!) and you only need 4 ingredients.

Instructions

Ingredients

Put all the ingredients in a small bowl.

Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.

Adjust the colour by adding a few drops of colouring or slightly more cocoa.

If you want to thicken the fake blood, add slightly more cornstarch until you have the desired consistency.

½ cup golden syrup

2-3 drops red food colouring

1½ teaspoons cocoa powder

1½ teaspoons cornstarch

Preparation time: 5 min.

Serves approx. ½ cup
